Those who are going to have the license renewed before the renewal period for such unavoidable reasons as traveling abroad, hospitalization, etc.

If you had your license reissued within six months after letting it expire for a compelling reason last time, please submit documents by which we can confirm the reason.
Lecture for Elderly Drivers are for those 70 years of age and older.

Place for Application	Chiba Driver's License Center Nagareyama Driver's License Center For those who wish to have their license issued on the same day as application The police station which has jurisdiction over the applicant's dwelling place ※License cannot be issued on the same day as application.

	Nagareyama Driver's License Center Monday through Friday 8:30 to 10:00 13:00 to 15:00 ※Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and New Year's holidays (Dec.29 to Jan.3) Sunday("Superior Drivers" only) 8:30 to 11:00 13:00 to 15:00 ※Sunday is exclusively for "Superior Drivers." Only Superior Drivers Lectures are held on Sundays. Please refer to the Renewal Notice mailed to you. ※Closed on New Year's holidays (Dec.29 to Jan.3)
